She plans to continue developing her leadership skills and experience working with not-for-profit health clinics to prepare her to eventually establish her own. In medical school she has served as M1 liaison for SNMA, and as a Fresh Start mentor for previously incarcerated patients, as well as a free clinic volunteer. She was also the president of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Gamma Chapter and led over 30 community service programs annually. In 2015 she graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she served as President for the Black Pre-Health Organization.
